Elwood, Ind.
Elwood City Pool - After being closed for five years, Elwood Mayor Ron Arnold promised to re-open the city pool during his term in office. Nearly 10 Vectren employees volunteered their time and talents to revitalize the city pool, making it ready for the community to enjoy throughout the summer of 2012.

Danville, Ind.
United Way Day of Caring – More than 40 Vectren employees from Danville, Ind., spent a warm day in August 2012 lending a hand at central Indiana United Way agencies. Agencies included Hendricks County Head Start, Hendricks County YMCA and Boone County Senior Center.

Dayton, Ohio
YMCA of Greater Dayton – Vectren employees assisted the YMCA of Greater Dayton in cleaning up its Regional Youth Fitness Training Center site, which is the location of a summer childhood obesity prevention program.
